The Room was large and kind of Spartan, but I had a corner room which was filled with light and very cheerful - with stone walls and polished hardwood floors - VERY nice. There was no elevator to my room, my room was only two flights up - to the top floor. The Lobby was really the waterside terrace, and the front desk open 8am til late. The Restaurant in the hotel was terrific. The Breakfast buffet was very good with special orders offered. Cleanliness was perfect in my room, bathroom, and public areas. Philip Horvat, the owner is always there and a great host. As I am often a solo traveler, I like to chat with the desk personnel at these boutique hotels to have some local contact and sociability - the staff here were a delight. Staff, universally English speaking, were very friendly and very helpful with all my endless needs and questions. The Location was perfect, right on the harbor with views of the sea and island and yachts in a a safe neighborhood.
